GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

RSBJ 550/500 series of heat shrinkable cable joint closure is used to protect and splice telephone cable joints. Usage of aerial, buried or ducted, non-filled or jelly filled, with insulates, shapes and compacts the joint bundle, and the unique three-finger clip with hot melt adhesive, which allows up to three cables at each end.

Heat-shrinkable composite materials, RSBJ 550/500 closures composite structure of the reinforced sleeve offers an excellent resistance to mechanical abuse during and after the installation. An integral metal layer which shrinks with the sleeve protects the joint from moisture vapor transmission.

RSBJ 550/500 enjoys an extended size range can accommodate splices up to 3600 pair with any connector type.
